Summary

Programming is not only my profession but also my hobby and integrated into my lifestyle. I think that computers and technology help me lead a more fulfilling life and make best use of my time. My family, friends, and co-workers would call me a geek or nerd. I am proud of those titles. I have always been working with a website in various forms since 1996. I grew up with computers and technology. I don’t know what I would be like without that.

Senior .NET Developer
Theoris
June 2013 – August 2013 (3 months)

Theoris is a full lifecycle IT professional services firm delivering services to clients across the United States. My role was to help the team at Exact Target anyway I could. I brought my expertise in SQL development and scalable web services and contributed to their already awesome team. I especially enjoyed working with the mobile messaging team and integration projects with 3rd party vendors.

.NET Developer
NIC Inc.
January 2013 – June 2013 (6 months)

I worked with the team behind www.IN.gov. More specifically, I used my skills in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, C# and SQL to improve the applications residents of Indiana use everyday. The apps at IN.gov help people do things online like pay for fishing licenses or file their taxes. My biggest accomplishment was building a ticket ordering system for the Indiana State Fair.

Testing and ALM Consultant
Corelink Administrative Solutions
June 2012 – December 2012 (7 months)

My objective as a consultant thru Upp Technologies was to provide a professional level of software support, services and education to my clients. My end goal is to establish a rapport with my client and to foster a long-term relationship and help them any way I can.
I specialize in supporting and providing training for all the Microsoft Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) products. The end result of that support and training is quality software and a higher level of service.
I was engaged with Corelink in Fargo, ND in the IT Testing department. My role was to mentor and assist the testing efforts at Corelink and help their developers automate Corelink's testing efforts and create a custom testing framework. We used a custom C# application to test legacy Unisys mainframe terminal applications.

Systems Engineer / Team Lead
Leaf Software Solutions
November 2011 – June 2012 (8 months)

I lead a great team on a C# .NET and Sql Server based SaaS application for an industry leading accounting solution provider. The application is unique to the banking industry and so is everyone on the team. Leaf is an exciting company to work for and always evolving.
The team follows an iterative approach to development using the latest tools and techniques. We use Mercurial and FogBugz for source control and work item management.
We chose ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework and SQL Server. StructureMap and AutoMapper to create a very extensible server layer for proper n-Tier development.
I continued using Telerik controls as I did before but only the MVC and Reporting packages. With MVC being so light compared to Web Forms, jQuery is utilized heavily.

Senior Software Engineer / Team Lead
WoundVision
July 2010 – November 2011 (1 year 5 months)

I lead a great team developing web applications to manage a new technology solution that helps cost-effectively bring “knowledge bedside” allowing hospital staff to not only stay more informed but increase the quality of care.
I reported to the Vice President of Engineering and the CEO.
I was the build master. I was a big influence on the choice of application lifecycle management tools. We used Team Foundation Server with a customized CMMI template and continuous integration. Because of the unique documentation rules set forth by the FDA, the bulk of the work item templates were custom made.
We also used Microsoft Test Manager for testing. We utilized all the advanced features in virtualization and screen recording of Visual Studio Agents and Test Manager.
Because of my extensive experience with the Microsoft software develop I was also the trainer for new testers and developers.
My programming focus was on data visualizations using several techniques including the Telerik control suite, Flash, and Silverlight. The architecture is using SQL Azure and other cloud based platforms. It was platform independent and could be installed on Amazon and BlueLock.

Senior Software Developer

I was in charge of the architecture and design of the data platform. This platform integrates with the video platform we already have to make a complete video analytics solution. I was on a team of developers working on a great line of products. My work was done using ASP.NET MVC, WCF, WPF, LINQ and SQL 2008. My primary focus was the web enabled systems management tool and the data services platform. I have experience using several Agile and hybrid project management techniques and experience using VersionOne and Pivotal Tracker.
